After years of good services, today I had to cancel a transfer for the first time. The email support asked for a signed piece of paper "notarised" in the country were the money was coming from (across the Atlantic) as proof of an operation that was made electronically. The telephone support was also unhelpful. After a long time on hold I talked to a person who repeated the same script over and over again (saying basically that no phone support can be given before 48h, no matter the issue). I asked for a manager but she said that there were no managers in the Customer Support. Any other department was just unreachable, the web chat was not working and when I tried to call for a second time at 4pm, the phone lines were already closed. A critical payment will not be made on time since the money went back and will need to be wired to the UK again through a different institution, but most importantly it will be very difficult to restore the level of trust I once had.

I sent 10.000 brazil Reais to two of my brothers in Brazil. The money went oiut of my bankaccount but one of my brothers did not receive it although i made both transfes a the same time! were is my money?

Wise is great to send money in other currencies easily. I also have a dollar account and it makes international transactions faster and cheaper.
